With the copyediting service, I will read your writing for understanding to create clear and consistent copy that is organized and reads smoothly. The copyediting service includes a review of sentence variety, organization and word choice. This service also includes proofreading for conventions such as spelling, punctuation, capitalization and grammar.

Before you reach the final stage of the writing process — publishing — you need a final review of your writing. Proofreading is a final analysis of your copyedited and formatted piece of writing. It focuses on errors in spelling, punctuation, capitalization and grammar. Proofreading also allows for a final overview of format specifications before the writing piece is published online or in print.    

For copyediting and proofreading services, you will email your copy in Google Docs or Microsoft Word. Suggested changes will be highlighted on the document, and comments will be available in the margin for your review. Once you approve the suggested changes, you can save all changes to your document. Do you want me to save all changes? I can do that, too! If you have questions or concerns, I will work with you to meet your copyediting or proofreading needs.
