Amber D. Browne Overview

With 25 years of experience in writing and broadcast journalism, I am well-versed in creating content, copyediting, proofreading and audio production. From reporting, producing and anchoring for various mass media outlets to creating marketing content and editing magazines, I have the experience to help you and your business succeed in this technology-dependent world. 

My purpose is to develop and share information. My online course, Creating Online Content 101, teaches small businesses how to write content for their website and social media, as well as how to Partner with the Press. My book, The Little Book of Hermetic Principles: Heal Your Energy, Seek Enlightenment, and Deepen Your Understanding of Your Mind, Body, and Spirit, was published and released by Ulysses Press in March of 2022. 

In 2024, I returned to the junior high classroom to teach Digital Media, Prin AAVTC and yearbook after a three-year hiatus from public school education. I resigned from teaching following the 2020-2021 school year with seven years of experience as a junior high school English Language Arts/Reading, media and yearbook teacher. I am thrilled to be back in the classroom to share my passion for writing, editing and audio/video production with the younger generation. 

I have a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication-Broadcast and a minor in History from Texas State University. My Texas educator certifications include 4-8 ELAR/Social Studies and 7-12 Journalism. I am a member of Author Moms, the Writers' League of Texas and the Nonfiction Authors Association.
